Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev were battling in a fantastic semifinal in Paris on Friday. The match entered the 3rd hour and the players were set to engage in a finger-licking 2nd set tiebreak when Sascha had a horrific tumble. It was pretty clear that Zverev had a serious injury (ankle) as he started to cry soon after the tumble. Eventually, he left the court in a wheelchair for assessment. Soon after, the world no.3 was back on crutches to announce his retirement. We still do not know the entity of the injury.
