FOOT INJURY. Nadal’s coach gives important updates ahead of his SF against Zverev

This is the current situation of Rafael Nadal's foot injury.

Rafael Nadal And His Foot Injury

Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev are going to square off in the French Open semifinal on Friday afternoon in Paris. While Nadal is the favorite to win the match, there are some doubts about his fitness.

Rafa has been struggling for most of his career with a nasty foot injury that is getting from bad to worse. The King of Clay won a fantastic quarterfinal against Novak Djokovic in a match that lasted more than 4 hours and that could have taken a toll on his foot.

According to Rafa’s coach Marc Lopez, Nadal may be fine with his injury if he plays the final on Sunday. Talking to the radio station COPE, Marc commented:

“I’m positive and I trust that Rafa’s foot will last until Sunday. After the wear and tear against Djokovic, he got up with pain.”
