At 18 years of age, Cori Gauff has reached her first slam final at the French Open after defeating Martina Trevisan on Thursday in Paris. The American sensation has been training hard since her very early days. At 11 years of age, she had already impressive tennis.

At the moment ranked no.23, Cori has a composed 20-10 record in 2022. Gauff is now having a run at the French Open where she beat Rebecca Marino 7-5 6-0, Alison Van Uytvanck 6-1 7-64, Kaia Kanepi 6-3 6-4, Elise Mertens 6-4 6-0, Sloane Stephens 7-5 6-2 and Martina Trevisan 6-3 6-1.
Cori Gauff will play the world no.1 Iga Swiatek in the final. The head to head is 2-0 for Swiatek.
