Marinko Matosevic finally made it!
The Australian didn’t win the Roland Garros, but he has achieved something really important for him.
Marinko wasn’t able in 4 years and 12 slams to win a single match in a main draw of a major. Yesterday he made it! He defeated Dustin Brown 7-6(5) 6-4 6-7(1) 7-5 and after winning the last point he rolled on the clay… difficult to describe, please see the video.

The funny Australian had some comments about his record at slams “Obviously it played on my mind. Not during the tour events, but when I came to the slam I definitely thought about it. You know, you guys write about it, other players know about it, so it was tough … I feel like there is a huge gorilla off my shoulders. Hopefully it can, I don’t know, free me up now.”
