Losing in Paris first round should not have been a nice experience for Nicolas Mahut that had to face something really weird in the following press conference.
What happened?
The world no.40 lost to Mikhail Kukushkin 6-3 6-7 (4) 6-3 6-4. Mahut was rather upset by that match to go to the press conference and explain why he has lost.
By his surprise the first question came from an English speaking reporter that wanted to congratulate him… but for what?
Nicholas was smiling saying “Well I have just lost!”. Then the reporter replied “I was told you have won”…ups… talking about bad reporting…
