Soon after the draw Alize Lim tweeted her “worries” about playing against Serena in the first round and she was obviously right.
The two know each other very well as they have been playing together for the past few years in Paris at the Mouratoglou Academy.
The match had no script whatsoever with Serena breaking Alize 4 times without dropping a single service game.
Serena will now play the winner between Grace Min and Garbine Muguruza. The Spaniard might be dangerous.
