Novak Djokovic is in the unique position to race for the year-end world on.1 rank. This was unimaginable early in the year when he had a surgery to his elbow. About playing in Beijing

Playing (and winning) in Beijing would be crucial for Nole for his race. He may accept a late wildcard, but he is still unsure about that.

The organization of the ATP500 in commented: “We have offered him a wildcard, but he has not accepted as of yet.”

Djokovic added “I’m coming home to Serbia to see my kids and in the next three days I will think about playing in Beijing because I’m still not sure.  will certainly play in Shanghai.”
