This is (another) terrible year for Bernard Tomic.
After the Australian managed to reach the final in Sydney early this year, everything was rather horrible for him. Bernard lost that final against Del Potro 6-3 6-1 to be defeated in 6 matches out of 7 from that moment on.
The problems got worse and worse as Tomic had to undergo an operation to his hip. Bernard tried to get back in Miami without much luck.
Today the Australian lost to the talented Martin Klizan that has recently won an incredible tournament in Munich (see article). Bernard was 1 set and a break up (6-4 2-0) to then implode and lose 4-6 6-3 6-4.
Let’s hope for more luck for the troubled Aussie!
