Simona Halep is currently in Wuhan where she is struggling a bit with her back. It’s still not sure how well she will compete in China because of her back. Therefore, the Romanian has taken the decision to compete also the Kremlin in Moscow that will take place on the 15^th of October.

Recently, Simona confirmed that she has the strong desire to finish as the world no.1 also by the end of this season to comment “The motivation is still there. I really want to finish on No. 1 again. I have a chance, but I have to take it.”

The defending champion is Julia Goerges and Simona has won the title in Moscow in 2013.
