Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz are arguably the most interesting up-and-coming teenagers. Emma has already won a slam while Carlito is already a top10 player, and he seems to be destined for greatness.

“I think what he is doing is incredible. But it is even more impressive how genuine and kind he is off the court.
It is incredible how he is able to practically take the racquet out of his opponent’s hand, it is definitely very exciting.”

Ranked world no.11 (career-high), the Brit has an overall 7-7 match record in 2022. Emma is now having a run in Madrid where she bested Tereza Martincova 7-63 6-0 and Marta Kostyuk 6-2 6-1.
Emma Raducanu will come up against the world no.37 Anhelina Kalinina in the 3rd round. They have never played each other up to now in top competitions.
Carlos Alcaraz in 2022
Currently the world no.9 (career-high), the Spaniard played his last match on the 24th of April when he defeated world no.22 Alex De Minaur 6-7(4) 7-6(4) 6-4 in the semifinal in Barcelona (draw).
This season Carlos has achieved a 23-3 win-loss record. Carlos has won 3 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, in Miami and in Barcelona.
