Naomi Osaka and Camila Giorgi will play in the semifinal in Tokyo.
Naomi reached the final 4 after she defeated the world no. 25 Barbora Strycova 6-3 6-4 in what represented her 9th consecutive win following her US Open title.
On the other side, Camila Giorgi got to the semifinal after the former world no. 1 Vika Azarenka withdrew in the quarters.

Naomi and Camila have never played each other so far. The Japanese is the favorite to reach the final.
The match will be played on Saturday and it’s scheduled at 1 pm after the other semifinal (Karolina Pliskova vs. Donna Vekic) that will be played at noon.
