Stefanos Tsitsipas and Carlos Alcaraz seem to be destined to have a long rivalry and they may face each other for the 3rd time in their career in Barcelona.

Carlos Alcaraz in 2022

Now ranked no.11 (career-high), Alcaraz played his last match on the 13^th

of April when he capitulated to world no.42 Sebastian Korda 7-6(2) 6-7(5) 6-3 in the 2^nd round in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters (draw).

At the moment, during this season Carlos has a composed 18-3 win-loss record. The Spaniard has won 2 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro and in Miami.
