The world no.1 played at his very best to defeat Tomas Berdych 6-4 6-2 in 1 hour and 27 minutes. Rafa grabbed the first set breaking Tomas in the 7th game (4-3) to then break the Czech twice in the third (2-1) and 7th (5-2) game of the second.
