Carlos Alcaraz is widely considered one of the most intriguing prospects in tennis. The 18-year-old has conquered already 2 prestigious titles in 2022 (Rio de Janeiro and Miami) and he is 1 step from breaking into the top 10 (he is currently ranked no.11).

Carlito has a rather complete tennis and he is extremely mature for his age. During a recent interview, he wasn’t shy to reveal that he feels ready to win slam this season. Alcaraz told Marca:

“I would say yes, I am prepared. I have the confidence, the level, the physical and mental ability to win. Maybe not Roland Garros, but a Slam this year, I do see myself as prepared – I’m not afraid to say it.”

Carlito will play next week in Monte Carlo where he will be among the top favorites.
