He revealed that he has also received a telephone call from the King of Spain Felipe VI. After Rafael Nadal, also the Spanish no.1 (WTA) Paula Badosa Gibert posted a lovely message in support of Carlito as follows:

Ranked no.16 (career-high), the Spaniard played his last match on the 3rd of April when he beat world no.8 Casper Ruud 7-5 6-4 in the final in Miami to win his 3rd career title.
Currently, during this season Alcaraz has managed to achieve a compiled 18-2 win-loss record. Alcaraz clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro and in Miami.

Now ranked no.3, Rafael played his last match on the 20th
of March when he surrendered to world no.13 Taylor Fritz 6-3 7-6(5) in the final in Indian Wells (draw).Until now, during this year Rafael has achieved a 20-1 win-loss record. Nadal conquered 3 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, at the Australian Open and in Acapulco. Rafael was the finalist in Indian Wells.
Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal faced off only twice. Their current head to head is 2-0 for Nadal. Before, the last time they fought against each other, Rafael Nadal won 6-4 4-6 6-3 in the semifinal in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open) on the 19th of March 2022.
