Soon after Carlito won the Miami Open, Rafa posted the following message on social media:

Now ranked no.3, Nadal played his last encounter on the 20^th of March when he was overcome by world no.13 Taylor Fritz 6-3 7-6(5) in the final in Indian Wells (draw).

Presently, during this year the Spaniard has achieved a compiled 20-1 match record. Nadal conquered 3 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, at the Australian Open and in Acapulco. Nadal reached the final in Indian Wells.

of April when he overcame world no.8 Casper Ruud 7-5 6-4 in the final in Miami to win his 3^rd career title.

This year Alcaraz has managed to achieve a composed 18-2 record. Alcaraz conquered 2 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro and in Miami.

Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz squared off just 2 times. Their actual record is 2-0 for Nadal. The last time they competed against each other, Rafael Nadal won 6-4 4-6 6-3 in the semifinal in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open) on the 19^th of March 2022.
