At just 18 years of age, Carlos Alcaraz won his first Master ATP1000 in Miami after beating Casper Ruud in straight sets on Sunday.

The Spanish sensation was perfect during the fortnight in Florida, even if he couldn’t rely on the physical presence of his coach and dear friend Juan Carlos Ferrero. Unfortunately, the former world no.1 had to return to Spain because his father passed away. Nevertheless, Juan Carlos was eager to support Carlito from the player’s box and he took a flight back to Miami.

Juan Carlos wanted it to be a surprise and he didn’t disclose his plan to Carlito, who was overjoyed to see him. Here is the emotional hug.
