Carlos Alcaraz is having yet another fantastic run in Miami, where he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas to access the quarterfinal without conceding a single set.

Stefanos played a rather good match, but Carlito was just too good. The 18-year-old impressed when he won 7 consecutive sets to reverse a 2-5 deficit into a 7-5 2-0 lead.

After the match, Carlito explained what he had to do in order to defeat the Greek champion.

“It was a very tough match, but it was amazing to play in front of this crowd. It was quite amazing to get so much support. Having the option to beat Stefanos in front of a crowd like that made it even more spectacular. It was a lot of fun.

He also addressed how hard the game became after the exhausting first set by saying, “It took a lot of energy to come back from the first set, All I can say is that I fought until the last ball to turn the first set around.”
