The American player is at the center of a nasty controversy after throwing his racket in frustration, almost hitting a ball boy when facing Federico Coria at the Miami Open. This was just the last episode of a worrying trend that is getting stronger and stronger for players who are seriously risking hurting people with their tantrums.
Many have the opinion that Jenson had to default. However, he was given just a penalty point and eventually he won the match in 3 sets. Brooksby was given just a $15,000 fine.

Jenson eventually apologized for his behavior during an interview with the Tennis Channel.
