Naomi Osaka plays another fantastic performance at the US Open to dispatch Madison Keys in straight sets.

The match

Naomi played a much better match than Madison because she was much more consistent while keeping her aggressive stance. After being 1-2 down in the opener,  she conquered 7 consecutive games to grab a decisive (6-2 2-0) lead. However, 2 years ago, Naomi lost a heartbreaking match against Madison in the US Open 3^rd round when she was unable to capitalize on a 5-1 lead in the 3^rd set.  For this reason, the Japanese was very well aware that she had to keep her focus till the end and she did it in style to win the match 6-2 6-4.

H2H Osaka – Serena Williams

Naomi will face her childhood hero Serena Williams in the final. Interesting enough, Naomi leads Serena 1-0 in head to head matches after she demolished the American in the Miami 1^st round 6-3 6-2 earlier this year. This will be a different Serena.
