Serena Williams plays at her very best in the US Open semifinal to concede just 3 games to Anastasija Sevastova.
The match
Serena didn’t start very well to lose immediately her serve and trail 0-2. At that point, Sevastova’s glory was already over because the American conquered 12 of the following 13 games before winning 6-3 6-0.
This is the first time since 2014 that Serena Williams reaches the US Open final and this is the 9th time that the American gets to the final act of the US Open.
More to come
“No matter what happens, in any match, I feel like I’ve already won.”
Just one year after giving birth to daughter Olympia, @serenawilliams is through to her *NINTH* @usopen final.
