Ashleigh commented that she had the idea of retiring from tennis after winning Wimbledon. However, she was convinced it was time to retire after conquering the Australian Open.
Ashleigh admitted that she is spent and no longer has the correct drive. Also, it is well-known that Ashleigh is not very keen on traveling all over the world and being away from her family.
