Jamie Murray had “mixed day” at the Us Open on Thursday.
In fact, the Brit lost the doubles (7-5 6-4) in the quarter-final when he was teaming up with Bruno Soares against Radu Albot and Malek Jaziri. However, Jamie managed to bounce back in the mixed doubles with his American partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands after they defeated McHale and Christian Harrison 6-4 2-6 10-8.
Even the ballboy is ready for my selfie! Enjoying this moment! Last year I was on crutches.. this year I’m competing for a title… Anything is possible when you choose to CHOOSE your attitude, no matter what. Also take notes on Jamie’s volleys.. #NextLevel #MixedDubs @usopen 🎾 pic.twitter.com/Jvm0PybEyV

The final
Jamie and Bethanie will face Poland’s Alicja Rosolska and Croatia’s Nikola Mektic in the final on Saturday.
Jamie commented “I’m really excited to win – to lose both matches would have been tough,” said Murray. But the chance to get into a Grand Slam final again was a big motivation for me, and I’m really looking forward to the match.”
