Jannik Sinner conceded a free card to Nick Kyrgios in Indian Wells. The Australian will face Rafale Nadal in the quartefinal.

Jannik Sinner and Nick Kyrgios were meant to face off in the Indian Wells 4th round, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. Italian sensation had to withdraw with illness to allow the Australian player to access the quarterfinal without playing a single point.

Jannik was seen struggling with his stomach when he was facing Benjamin Bonzi in the 3rd round. Eventually, the Italian won the match in 2 hours and 37 minutes, but it was clear that his condition was quite precarious. Unfortunately, he couldn’t recover in time to Kyrgios.
