John Isner has reached the quarters at the Us Open after a great win over Milos Raonic (3-6 6-3 6-4 3-6 6-2).
The American no.1 is playing on “2 courts” as from one side he is trying to get as deep as he can at the Us Open, on the other his wife may give birth any time.
John is expected to become a dad he 22th of September, but there is very well the possibility that this great event will happen before that date.

During a recent interview, John commented
“I want to go as hard as I possibly can here. I do know after that, I could very well have some time off at home with my new family soon, so that will be cool.
I will play if it worked out where I could get there and get back. If it was the day of the match, not possible. I’m not going to miss the birth, but we’ll see. I can’t control that.”
Next vs. Del Potro
John will face Juan Martin Del Potro in the quarters. The head to head is 7-4 for Del Potro.
