Nadal And Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz is widely regarded as the heir of Rafael Nadal, even if their style is quite different. Rafa won an amazing Australian Open title in January to clinch his 21st slam title. Carlito disclosed that he couldn’t even eat during Nadal’s final against Melbourne.

Alcaraz revealed:

“I was glued to the television for the duration of the final. I couldn’t even eat. The tension skyrocketed when the fifth set started; I was at home with my brother. During the breaks, I briefly went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat.

When the game resumed, I ran in front of the TV like a madman. I didn’t want to miss a single point.”

Carlos will soon start his run in Indian Wells where he will face home favorite McKenzie McDonald.
