Emma Raducanu is now in Indian Wells, where she is about to start competing in the local WTA1000 event. The US Open champion managed to play only one match in Mexico, where she was supposed to compete in both Guadalajara and Monterrey. However, she got injured in Guadalajara to skip the next tournament and go straight to Indian Wells.
Emma is training hard in California. According to the following video of one of her practice sessions, it seems that her hip injury is a thing of the past. Raducanu will face either Dayana Yastremska or Caroline Garcia in her opening match in the desert.
