Lorenzo Musetti had a fantastic weekend after winning the decisive point for Team Italy during a tense Davis Cup tie against Slovakia. Musetti won 6-7 (3) 6-2 6-4 over Norbert Gombos after losing the first set.

After the match, Musetti started the on-court interview, but a sudden “shower suddenly stopped him.”

Now the world no.56 (career-high), Musetti played his last match on the 5^th of March when he overcame world no.109 Norbert Gombos 6-7(3) 6-2 6-4

in the Rubber 5 of the Davis Cup (draw).

Presently, during this year Musetti has managed to achieve a 4-5 match record. Lorenzo will now compete in the upcoming ATP1000 that will be staged in Indian Wells. Later he will play in Miami before starting the clay court season.
