Alexander Zverev ended his experience in Acapulco in the worst possible way after defaulting. The Mexican Open announced that Zverev will not be allowed to compete anymore in Acapulco after hitting the umpire’s chair calling him “F…ing idiot.”
The German player wasn’t happy with a call during his doubles with Marcelo Melo against Glasspool and Heliovaara. Zverev lost completely his cool after losing the match to exhibit a rather scary behavior.
The tournament posted the following statement:
“Due to unsportsmanlike conduct at the conclusion of his doubles match on Tuesday night, Alexander Zverev has been withdrawn from the tournament in Acapulco.”
