Carlos Alcaraz and Cameron Norrie have just conquered the tournaments in Rio de Janeiro and Delray Beach. Curiously, both of them were meant to clash in the first round of the ATP 500 that is staged this week in Acapulco. However, that will not happen because Carlito decided to return to Spain and rest since he has discomfort in his right elbow.

Carlos Alcaraz will take some days off before playing the Davis Cup from Spain and then head to Indian Wells, where he will try to have a deep run in the prestigious ATP1000 event. Cameron Norrie will therefore face either a qualifier or a lucky loser in his first round in Acapulco.
