During a recent interview, Simona Halep confessed that she has been feeling like the legitimate world no1 only After she conquered her first slam this year at the French Open.
The Romanian is now leading the WTA rankings for the 26th consecutive week, and it seems as she this will stay for long also because she is currently enjoying a sizeable lead over the world no.2 Caroline Wozniacki (more than 2000 points).

Aryna has recorded a fantastic win in New Haven after she conquered her maiden title. After last week, Sabalenka is ranked no.20 (career high and going for more).
20-year-old Dayana Yastremska managed to get in the top100 for the first time after reaching the 2nd round at New Haven. She is now ranked no.98.
