The Americans has defeated Marrero and Verdasco 4-6 6-4 11-9 to claim their 97th title, the 5th in Houston, the 4th consecutive one in this season after Indian Wells, Miami, Delray Beach and Houston.
Bob commented after the victory “It was a match that could have gone either way. They kept us off balance all day with great serving and huge forehands.”
