We have an all Spanish final in Houston.

Sam Querry was not able to play for a problem to his lower back to give a free pass to Nicolas Almagro for the final. The seed no.3 will play his compatriot Fernando Verdasco (seed no.4) in the final.

Fernando defeated Santiago Giraldo from Colombia 6-4 7-5 in 1 hour and 31 minutes.

The final

This will be the 10th match between Fernando and Nicolas. Head to head is 6-3 for Verdasco.
