Simona Halep and Serena Williams are the hot favorites to win the 2018 US Open. Seeded no.1, the Romanian is definitely in pole position especially after winning Montreal and reaching the final in Cincinnati.
Serena is still trying to find her best form, but it’s pretty clear that if she finds her groove, she can beat anyone as she showed in Wimbledon where she reached the final.
