After the early departure of Gilles Simon the tournament in Casablanca loses another couple of big fishes.
Kevin Anderson had to bow to Victor Hanescu that defeated the South African in 2 sets. The Romanian will now play Federico Delbonis in the quarters.
Delbonis came to the last 8 defeating good Filip Peliwo in 3 sets (6-2 6-7 (4) 6-4).
Casablanca lost also the seedno.2 as Gael Monfils was unable to play due to a right ankle injury. The Frenchman will be replaced by lucky loser Andrey Kuznetsov.
