Being a top professional tennis player is a huge achievement that has some drawbacks, especially nowadays with social media. According to an analysis conducted by betting company Pickwise, Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams, Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu have been the most abused tennis players in the last 12 months on Twitter.
The analysis took into consideration more than 100,000 tweets. Naomi had 32,415 abusing tweets following her problems during the French Open when she withdrew, citing mental issues.
Strangely even Emma Raducanu appears in this list in the 4th place despite her popularity.
Novak Djokovic would have been no.5 in this not-so-great log. Unfortunately, after his struggle at the Australian Open, Novak would move up on the list.
