Davis Cup. A super Italy beats Great Britain to reach the semi-final

This is a great result for the Italian team that was the favourite against a Great Britain whose pillar was a struggling Murray.

The Italians were meant to have in their pockets both singles against world no.161 James Ward. The only problem was how to win at least 1 match against Andy Murray.

The Scott was meant to be the superman of the situation, but he is definitely not playing the best tennis of his career after the back operation he had at the end of last year. So there was an opening.

Murray won his first single against Seppi and the doubles partnering with Fleming to give a 2-1 led to his team. Unfortunately Andy stumble in the last obstacle against a great Fognini that defeated him 6-3 6-3 6-4.

In the decisive match Seppi had an extremely easy life to beat Ward 6-4 6-3 -64.

Next vs. Switzerland.

Italy will play Switzerland in the semi-final. In theory the Swiss Team is the favourite, but a shaky if Wawrinka gets shaky once again Italy can make it.
