Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev will clash in a very special Australian Open final on Sunday in Melbourne when Rafa will have the opportunity to win his 21st slam. The Spanish sensation was sidelined for many months last year after struggling with a nasty foot injury that has been tormenting his career since the very beginning.

Why was Nadal crying?

During a press conference, Nadal admitted that he was surprised to be in the Australian Open final. Actually, he admitted he wasn’t even sure if he could play tournaments anymore.

The Spanish legend could not contain his emotions after he defeated Matteo Berrettini to cry right before leaving the court.

Here are the videos.
