Matteo Berrettini is about to play the Australian Open semi-final against Rafael Nadal. In Melbourne, the Italian sensation is constantly followed by a Netflix crew. The popular streaming company is producing a documentary about professional tennis players; Berrettini is one of them.
After one of his Australian Open matches, Matteo was recently caught on camera behind the scenes kissing his girlfriend Ajla Tomljanovic.
During Matteo’s on-court interview with Sam Groth after his victorious match against Gael Monfils, the Italian player revealed what people would see on Netflix about his life.
Matteo commented:
“I think people are going to see how much I struggle with my body.
How much physio I have to do and how much time I spend with my physio and that my room is pretty pretty messy, it’s a mess like really I’m really messy and you guys are gonna see that, but hopefully also the good stuff.
[People are going to see] the real issue with my team and everything that is going on like you said behind the scenes.
I think it’s really cool to see it because people think we just step in but there is like a world behind the scenes so hopefully, you guys are gonna like it.”
