A “Nishikori-less” Japan doesn’t enough power to oppose to a “Berdych-less” Czech Republic. Radek Stepanek and Lukas Rosol proved to be stronger than Asian team that still fought till the end.
Radek defeated world no. 146 Tatsuma Ito 6-7 (5) 7-6 (5) 6-1 7-5 in less than 4 hours. Lukas Rosol defeated Daniel 6-4 6-4 3-6 4-6 6-2.
Now the Czechs are expected to win the decisive point in the doubles tomorrow.
