Kyrgios And Thanasi Kokkinakis

Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis caused a huge upset in doubles at the Australian Open after they defeated the seeds number 1 Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić 7-6 (10-8), 6-3 in a packed Kia Arena.

Nick was in full “antics mode,” and he didn’t spare his opponents with some heavy balls at the body. That wasn’t received very well by their team that was quite aggressive toward the Australians after the match.

Nick tweeted:

“Just letting you know after yesterday’s chop fest in doubles my opponents coach and trainer proceeded to threaten to fight in the players gym. Tennis is a soft soft sport all because I moved and hit them with a tennis ball.”
