A couple of days ago Serena said that for her it is just about playing at her (amazing) level to win a match. That happened also in the Miami final.
Once again Serena had a slow start to be 1-4 and two breaks down. That result didn’t really come only for Serena unforced errors (too many), but also because Na Li was good a putting the right pressure and the world no.1 was struggling with the strong wind.
So Serena recovered this 1-4 deficit, she saved a set point with an imperious backhand down the line when she was 4-5 down and… bye bye. Williams finally finds her tennis to crash the Chinese i the second set and dismiss Na Li 7-5 6-1. Match Stats.

The American commented “It was a really important victory, especially playing Li Na, who has been playing so well. She started out so well – I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I just need to hang in here.’ Then I heard some fans trying to pull me through – if it hadn’t been for you guys I wouldn’t be standing here right now.”
