Roger Federer doesn’t get low easily.

The Maestro has just suffered a nasty loss at the hands of Kei Nishikori (a match he was winning without any problem), but that wasn’t as nasty on his moral.

Roger is now eager to get ready for the clay court season and the first stop is going to be the Davis Cup tie against Kazakhstan the 4th of April in Geneva.

Roger: It is a good start of the season

“It’s a good start to the season, no doubt. I want to keep it up now for Geneva when I play next week. The clay is something I have always enjoyed throughout my career. It’s what I grew up playing on.

“I like the changes of continents and surfaces and all that. This is the last jet lag we have to fight for five months or so. The beginning is tough when we go to Australia and then West Coast; Dubai, as well.”

This is going to be a good season for the Maestro!
