Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic are on great terms and the former British number 1 expresses his disappointment for Novak Djokovic’s saga.
With just a couple of days from the beginning of the Australian Open, it is still not clear if the world number 1 will be part of the tournament. Also, there is some uncertainty about the draw. As of now, Novak Djokovic is meant to face fellow Serbian player Miomir Kecmanovic, but it is not clear if that is going to happen.
Murray on Djokovic
After reaching the final in Sydney, Andy Murray was asked to comment on Novak Djokovic’s situation.
Andy replied:
“It’s unfortunate that it’s ended up in this sort of situation … [I] just want it to get resolved. I think it would be good for everyone if that was the case. It just seems like it’s dragged on for quite a long time now, and yeah, not great for the tennis, not great for the Australian Open, not great for Novak.”
