Wawrinka reaches the 4th round in Miami

Stanislas Wawrinka keeps his March in Miami, but his tennis is not as convincing as it was in Melbourne.

I took 1 hour and 34 minutes for Stan to beat world no.43 Edouard Roger-Vasselin. Stanislas scored just 10 points over Edouard (76 vs 66). Match Stats.

From Wawrinka

Stan was aware that he wasn’t at his best to comment “I’m happy the way I was fighting, the way I was positive in the game. Even if I was wasn’t moving or playing so as well at the beginning, I stayed with him. I was fighting with myself to get control of the point.”

Next vs. Dolgopolov

The Swiss will play Alexandr Dolgopolov in the 4th round. Head to head is 1-1, but Dolgo is playing better than Stan during the last month to be the favorite to get to the quarters.
