What terrible news for Juan Martin Del Potro.
The Argentine was eager about having a smashing 2014, but once again his aspirations have been crashed by a wrist injury.
Juan Martin had already his career interrupted by an operation to his right wrist in 2009 soon after winning the US Open and now he has to operate the left one.
The Argentine should be operated this coming Monday. The healing time should be about 8 months. It took 2 years to recover from the first operation, but again that was on the right wrist, this one is the left so he can definitely start to practice again before he is full fit to play in the Tour (he has just to be careful not to use a double hand backhand during the first trainings).
