Emma Raducanu is finally very close to kick-starting her 2022, which will happen in Sydney against Iga Swiatek. The US Open champion had to play her first tournament of the season in Melbourne this week. However, Emma was not ready because her preparation was slowed down when she was infected with the coronavirus in December.
Emma had a tough draw indeed in Sydney. If she defeats Iga (seeded no.2), she might face Ashleigh Barty already in the quarterfinals.
