Emma Raducanu still has to start at her official 2022 season. The British sensation was meant to play this week in Melbourne, but her preparation was stopped the last month when she was infected by the Coronavirus. Despite being idle, Emma gains one place in the live rankings to be the new world number 18, her career-high rank.

Shelby Rogers is in the quarters in Adelaide to gain 6 places in the live rankings and be the new world number 34 (career-high). If she wins the South Australia tournament, she will be ranked the number 30.

Clara Tauson is an extremely interesting prospect. She is playing in Melbourne and after winning her first round she gained 2 places in the live rankings to be the new world number 42 (career-high). If she wins the tournament, she will be ranked around the 35th position depending on the results of the other players.

Viktorija Golubic is also at a career-high (41) after going out to places.
