Djokovic can be sent back home according to Prime Minister Scott Morrison

Scott Morrison says that Novak Djokovic will not be treated differently than all the other people

Novak Djokovic acquired a rather controversial medical exemption to compete in the upcoming Australian Open. The green light given by the Victorian government raised some eyebrows because Novak Djokovic is well known for being against the vaccination. In addition, Novak Djokovic is supremely fit and, therefore, it may sound strange that he has an acute medical condition preventing him from getting the jabs.

Novak is currently heading to Melbourne, but according to Australian prime minister Scott Morrison, Djokovic can be sent back home if he doesn’t provide proper proof that makes him eligible to have a medical exemption.

He’ll be on the next plane home

Morrison commented:

“We await his presentation and what evidence he provides us to support that.

If that evidence is insufficient, then he won’t be treated any different to anyone else and he’ll be on the next plane home. There should be no special rules for Novak Djokovic at all. None whatsoever.”
