The draw in Miami is out and the Indian Wells finalists, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, fell in the same half.
Federer
Roger had a great draw with the exception of the opener where he should play Ivo Karlovic. The Croatian is always highly unpredictable, but Roger is meant to beat him (probably with a couple of tie breaks). After that the Swiss has approachable players and he was lucky to be drawn in Ferrer’s quarter. If Roger will play and beat David in the quarter, he will be the new world no.4 after this forthnight.
Djokovic
Nole has a couple of easy matches in the first 2 rounds. Then he should play Gulbis in the 4th round (a tricky opponent) and then probably Murray. The Scott is not at his best, but he is still a dangerous opponent and he is the defending champion in Miami. In the semis Nole should play Roger once again.
Nadal
Rafa had a good draw. He might play Janowicz in the 4th round and that is not good for the world no.1 as Jerzy has the kind of anticipations that Rafa doesn’t like. In addition the Pole doesn’t struggle with Rafa’s high balls. In the quarters Rafa doesn’t have terrible opponents as the highest seed is Del Potro that has huge problems with his wrist (so he probably wouldn’t not even make it to the last 8)
Wawrinka
Stan needs to show that the Australian Open wasn’t a fluke. The seed no.3 had a good draw with a possible match up with Berdych in the quarters.
Dimitrov
Baby Fed had a good draw to possible play an unfit Ferrer in the 4th round and than if both can make it he might play “Big Fed” in the quarters.
Here the possible quarters
Nadal – Del Potro / Raonic
Wawrinka – Berdych
Federer – Ferrer / Dimitrov
Djokovic – Murray / Tsonga
